Wags and Walkabout Pet Services is owned and operated by Deirdre O'Donovan. Deirdre grew up in Ireland and moved to California in the mid 90s. She spent over a decade in the biotech industry, taking care of the pets of friends and aquaintances in her spare time before deciding that she wanted to turn her hobby into a career. "I have loved animals for as long as I can remember.  After many years in the 'corporate world' I decided that it was time to take a chance and I haven't looked back since."

My cat is very unfriendly with new people and a bit protective of her environment, but she actually came out to greet Deirdre when she'd arrive. Deirdre watches my dog. Deirdre is great when caring for our animal friends.  I was away for a week and she came in everyday to take care of my cats who live in and outdoors.  She follows instructions for feeding, watering, walking, etc.  She is conscientious, business like and has good humor to boot.  Check her out when considering your needs for short or long term pet sitting/walking care.
